to our 18C house situated in the hamlet of La Grande Poitevinière.
The construction of the house, from stone « tuffeau »
and « ardoise » slate is typical of the farms in the
Loire region.
The Loire region is famous for chateaux such as those at Saumur,
Montsoreau, Breze, Chinon and the Abbaye de Fontevraud. Abecedaire
is centrally located between Bourgueil and Angers, ideal for you
to explore and discover the regions of Touraine and Anjou.
Our two chambres d’hote, St Nicolas and Bourgueil, occupy
a floor of the house which has recently been restored
